In the local paper recently the Mayor was asking for citizens to get involved in the future developement of Ajax. There are many things that will affect us as residences but not enough people voice their opinion. Lets all try to get involved and see how we can all make Ajax an even better place to live.

I just saw the local paper, where the mayor is requesting that more people get involed in the local planning. It seems like the region has some ideas that will not be as beneficial to local residents.

Ajax Ontario a Great Place to Live

The town of Ajax in the Region of Durham is the best places to live. Where else can you live in a beautiful friendly community that has one of the largest water front trails in Ontario and in which you are 10 minutes away from skiing hills, in the winter. You can enjoy watching horse races one day and hiking through the nature trails the next. Minutes from the 401 and 407 highways; and 35 minutes to downtown Toronto via GO Train. Some of the best shopping around, you can find everything in Ajax. Look around you will see people enjoying life, great sports teams and activities. The houses are still affordable; people can still afford to live a great life in Ajax. Close to everything but still holds onto its small town feeling.
